I was running my Ipad CHIRP last week, connected to my NSS-7, BSM-2, running the Airmar B175L, and B175M transducers by using the GoFree Wifi module. The Ipad does of course not compete with the resolution, and screen brightness on my NSE-12, NSS-7, or HDS-12 Touch.
It is really awesome to be able to control radar, CHIRP sonar, Sonic Hub, Chart Plotter, to see AIS targets and even monitor fuel consumption, motor temps, plus A LOT more.
